| So as to avoid confusion. Q: Will you draw me *insert theme here*? A: It depends. If you're a friend of mine, a watcher for a long time, a loyal commenter or you just happen to find me in a good mood and ask for something I'd thought about making, then yes, I will. If you just pop in my page and randomly ask for me to draw you something, then I most probably won't. Commissions are open; if you like my art, pay for it. I'm a professional, not a hobbyist. Q: OMG will you teach me how to draw??? A: No, I won't. I can't teach you to draw. I can't take your hand and make the lines for you, neither watch over you in your artistic development. I'm not a teacher. If you're particularly interested in something specific I make, you can ask me for a tutorial, I'll most probably make it. Otherwise, there are plenty of online tutorials, books and reference pictures for you to practise on your own. Q: Your opinion insults me! A: I don't usually post extreme opinions online so as to avoid unnecessary conflicts, but okay, you're free to feel insulted on my opinions. If you act like the civilized person you're supposed to be, and you explain to me why my sayings insulted or bothered you, I'll be more than happy to move the conversation in a more private place and talk about it with you. If you act like an immature spoiled brat and tell me to "go to hell" or to "shut up" or whatever similar, you will soon find yourself facing the terror of cold-blooded, demonic sarcasm and its loyal partner, logical arguments. Ye' be warned. Q: You kinda scared me with all these FAQs. Can I even talk to you or you'll bite me? A: Don't worry, I bite only during the full moon. I'm actually a really friendly person, I listen to people and I try to keep everyone satisfied. All these warnings are for people who are looking for fights or for artists to take advantage of, not for people who happen to have different opinions than me. So feel free to nudge me. |
